TERMS OF USE
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Visitor Master kiosk and staff platform (the “Service”), available at https://app.visitormaster.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Service is operated by Cyents Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. The Service
Visitor Master provides software that allows escape room and entertainment venues to register players, capture digital liability waivers, record game results, send results emails, collect feedback and run marketing and prize-draw activities. The Service is provided to venues (“Operators”) and used by their staff and players.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
- Operator and staff accounts are created by invitation and are for business use only.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You must be authorised to act on behalf of the venue you represent.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harmful;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.
4. Operator Responsibilities
Operators are the Data Controller for personal data collected through their kiosk and are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to collect it, for the accuracy of their waiver text, and for compliance with applicable consumer, data protection and health-and-safety laws. Cyents Limited acts as a Data Processor as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Player Waivers
Liability waivers are agreements between the player (or their guardian) and the venue. Visitor Master provides the tooling to capture and store these waivers but is not a party to them and gives no warranty as to their legal enforceability. Operators are responsible for the content and adequacy of their own waiver wording.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Cyents Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. Content you upload remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example, email delivery, Google Drive and MailerLite) as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our reasonable control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyents Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. Operators may stop using the Service at any time; data handling on closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
